Uk. Family opened an antiques centre in cheshire four years ago.
The centre is situated in an old barn and has several dealers renting space.
We buy and sell genuine old english, continental, asian and oriental antiques. From pottery to furniture. These usually are very expensive, which narrows our market. No reproduction is allowed in this barn.

The centre is doing well but we feel it could do better by extending to antique style reproduction items, for people who want nice decoration without age or expensive cost.

A new barn has been built adjacent to the antiques barn specifically for the purpose of selling quality reproduction items, gifts and crafts.
Especially antique style bedding, quilts and linen, which as you can understand, people would prefer to sleep on new bedding, while retaining the shabby chic antique look.
We would also like to be able to provide baby items such as quality christening gifts and special hancrafted items for the new born. Eg. Teddies bears, cot mobiles etc.
Again there will be several dealers renting space in this 2nd barn.

We also do all major fairs such as newark by dmg group
I think we could sell quality reproduction to other trade people who attend these fairs
We have also opened a farm shop selling only local produce. This will attract local people who want something special.
